This month is the ONLY 20-day period of the entire year 2009 when ALL the planets are moving in forward motion, which means NO HOLDING BACK! Dec 1 - 20, with special attention to this week of the Sag New Moon (12/16) which completely supports planting the seeds of your *NEW* Truth / *NEW* Story. This is a small window of opportunity to hold your own counsel, tune in to the cosmos and your Higher Self and come up with a new and improved vision for your life. I suggest you use the holiday season to give your Self the GIFT of *TIME* to reflect and plan. You are standing on this side of a bridge, about to crossover to completely new, and as yet, unknown territory which deserves more than a fleeting thought.

Sagittarius requires us to take a moment to make meaning out of all the information we have gathered over the last 6-months - 12-years. Last month, the Scorpio energy brought some very real, deeply buried issues to the surface and further revealed what is truly ending, complete and finished, in your life. This time period in history is the reason for this "end-of-an-era-energy". We really are ending some HUGE cycles, personally and globally, and beginning completely NEW ones. There is no more postponing, putting on the back-burner, avoiding, burying, or sweeping under the rug - really, there is no more rug - no more cover! Not to totally negate free will and choice, you must remember that you can run but you can't hide (from Self) so you can "choose" to postpone ... or face things once and for all and move freely, LIGHTER, to the next level. It is time to subjugate your ego to that of higher, Divine Will.

If you find that things are dis-integrating in your life, keep in mind that some things have to "break" to realign, to heal correctly and re-integrate stronger. Many people are experiencing career change, relationships ending, income streams shifting, health issues popping up (or getting worse), please know that it truly is Divine Order. You are changing, growing, evolving, and when YOU change - everyone (and everything) else around you must shift too (or go away, even temporarily). These are "growing pains" or "labor pains" you are feeling and while they may seem unbearable in the moment, it is not a permanent condition. You are in the VOID - between the old and the new - where you have to focus - you have to breathe - and be present, keeping in mind the most optimistic possible outcome because if you give in to the fear, you only create more pain and more challenges.

Sagittarius time is the time in between the end (of the old) and the beginning (of the new), in between the invisible (Scorpio) and the visible (Capricorn) energies, where the possibilities are only limited by your imagination and ability to believe in your Self and the Universe (faith). (Later this month we move in to Capricorn where we begin to make the vision tangible and the physical work begins.) Sag asks everyone to reconsider their definition of Truth, Faith and Purpose. We are being presented with a tremendous OPPORTUNITY (Jupiter) the whole month of December. One month is scant time to free your mind of limitations, detach from appearances and focus ONLY on the Highest possible outcomes you can imagine (to any issue / problem / goal / objective). There are some powerful planetary shifts which are opening gateways to energy allowing us to readily connect to the Infinite Source of all creation. Take advantage of this time!!

We don't know where we're going ...
but we're on our way!

When I heard the above quote, I thought it perfectly illustrates where we are individually as well as collectively! Ready or not, the door to the past is closing and the door to the future is beckoning as you move in to the new energy ... and somehow in the void and through all the chaos, opportunity continues to blossom between the cracks in the structures which are crumbling around us.

Deep in the core of my being I feel that we are being moved in to position ~ in to a position where we can fulfill our individual and collective potential. Everyone is at different stages of this evolution ... some of you are going through some kind of purging of the old/past, some of you are just stepping in to your *new* self and learning how to walk and talk all over again, and some great souls are way ahead of most and you already have a foundation upon which you can now expand more fully in to your authentic truth and purpose. It is ALL Divine no matter what stage you are in. And there are no shortcuts to the next level. You have to get okay with where you are and what you've got before you can truly transcend it.

Of all the years, I strongly encourage everyone this year to take time out this season to reflect on who you are, where you are and what you deeply desire for your life, and further, your community and planet.

Rather than continuing to spend your precious resources on trying to save what is dying or revive what is dead, rather than using the old methods to save an old paradigm - old truth - old structure, you are better served and your resources better spent on creating a *NEW* paradigm ~ *NEW* truth ~ and *NEW* structure that can and will accommodate the *NEW* ENERGY! (The old paradigms & structures cannot sustain the new energy & activations.)

I have said for some time now, that we need to find a "new way to do the same old things" - eat / pay bills / work / contribute to society in some way. However, as each year ticks by ~ deeper layers of the truth of this are revealed. The "new way" is likely to feel very foreign initially ... that is because it IS! Get okay with it ~ get present to the adventure of it and savor each day as the tasty dessert with a surprise in the middle. (Hopefully you are getting what you "ordered"! *wink*)

If you are accessing your new rhythm and trying to find "your (new) way", it is said to court the Goddess of Wisdom (Pallas Athene) rather than the Goddess of Wealth (Lakshmi). While both powerful and useful in their own right, ultimately, wisdom allows you to create whatever you can imagine and the Goddess of Wealth will then, court YOU!

Creating from the soul *IS* the foundation of the "new" way as the old methods no longer work. Sharing your unique gift with the community and serving a purpose is guaranteed to succeed. So I guess it comes down to is: "what can you contribute"? and "what is your definition of success?" and is that 'definition' congruent with your words, thoughts and deeds?

Mars, The Personal Planets & The Process

Sun (your identity) ~ Mercury (your voice) ~ Venus (your values) ~ Mars (your desires) all work together and move through each sign for 1-2 months at a time, developing *YOU* as they go. The Sign energies represent the lessons the Planets are trying to teach as the activate, stimulate and animate each Sign. Normally, they follow this pattern ... until they Retrograde, which extends and expands the lesson. Mars Cycle
Mars usually takes about 2 months in a sign, taking it 2 years to make it through the zodiac. So on a personal level, every 2 years, you can expect a new cycle to *Initiate* where your energy, passion and desires (Mars) are concerned. On a collective level, we look to the Retrograde for that *reset button* to be pushed, where your outer life, and its direction, shifts in terms of energy and action. This year Mars Retrogrades (Dec 20, 2009) and goes Direct (Mar 10, 2010) in ALL Leo. To give you a frame of reference, the last time Mars came close was when it Retrograded in January 1995 in Virgo, and went Direct in Leo in March 1995 (same Virgo/Leo combo happened in 1980; 1977 was Leo/Cancer). However, the last time it was truly similar to *now* ~ ALL Leo ~ was December 1962 - March 1963. Again, we have the 1960's re-activated *now*. Think of the issues that got people all fired up and passionate back then, things that spurred them to action, some effective, some destructive, but undeniable moves were made and people were operating from a deep sense of heart-felt passion about their ideas and views.

Mars Retrograde in LEO ~ Past & Future
Another note on the timeliness of Mars Retrograde in LEO and what's to come. This period in history is so intense and brilliant! Marinate this: what-all happened in 1962-1963 that prepared you for the vibration which occurred when it was the Leo/Cancer Retrograde of 1977? That frame of reference will also help you with navigating *now*. The next time Mars will Retrograde in Leo/Cancer (like 1977) it will be 2024-2025 ... right as Pluto wraps up its 16-year journey through Capricorn, then does a little back-and-forth with its own Retrograde through Capricorn/Aquarius. This will put Mars (lower will) in direct OPPOSITION to Pluto (Higher Will) for several months during that time (2024-2025). That is HUGE!! We get little Mars Oppose Pluto activations periodically, but that one will be extremely significant for the collective and how we navigate *now* (and the next 15 years) where our authentic *power* is concerned will determine the outcome of this major once-in-a-lifetime cycle.
*I realize you may feel that is too far in the future to consider, but think of how fast the LAST 10-15 years have zipped by and take in to consideration that part of that is the fact that time, as we perceive it, is really speeding up. I myself, think we should take things a year or two at a time, but a periodical glance ahead doesn't hurt. Keep in mind, everything is leading to the next thing and consider these smaller cycles as building blocks of the larger cycles ... especially if you are creating a greater vision of your life and desire to contribute to the collective, your unique *piece* of the whole.

Mars
Most people know Mars for its mythology as the God of War, anger and aggression, being head-strong (Aries), diabolical (Scorpio) and always trying to get what it *wants* (sometimes, by any means necessary and without thought of possible danger to themselves or harm to others). I'm going to suggest we use this energy as *rage-to-outrage*. Rage is destructive and paralyzing, it holds you hostage and does damage to all involved, whereas, Outrage is productive, mobilizing and a much more effective use of the same energy. Not to mention, Mars is so much more! You are capable of expressing so much more! Mars represents what motivates you to action, what gets you fired up and how you use your vital life force energy to produce results in your life. It can make you cranky (within) and abusive (without) if you are not channeling that energy properly or suppressing your desires altogether.

Mars is the motivating force within you that pushes you to do anything in the world. It's your personal will and connection to power on a mundane level, and most of all, it's the part of you that needs something to *DO*. "Idle time is the devil's workshop" is never truer than a Mars with no purpose or direction. To accomplish anything, you must first have the desire, then the energy and ultimately, the action you take dictates the results you'll receive. Humans need a reason to get up and move every day, which is inspired by *desire* ... the desire to be, do, have ~ the passion to play, create, cavort ~ the vitality to ignite, spark, initiate *LIFE*! Repression and suppression of this natural instinct causes toxic explosions, and rightly so.

Mars in LEO
Mars in Leo is a beautiful gift, for those born with it, as well as the rest of us now being affected for several months as this planet animates these lessons and gifts (and activates that area of your personal chart). This is a prompting from the Universe to focus in this area. The fact that it is moving through this lesson (introduction), then pulling back, indicates a necessity to review ~ revise ~ go back over this territory ~ there is something you may have missed the first time ... then on the 3rd and final pass, forward movement resumed, you have additional information and clarity with which to consciously decide how you really want to express this Divine energy.

Mars Retrograde in LEO
Retrogrades are never a time to *Initiate* but rather a time to *Review / Reflect* and prepare for future forward movement. This is a time, certainly December 2009 - March 2010, to pull back, don't force issues that are not working and do not force your will or initiate confrontations as they are not likely to turn out in your favor. This is a time to reflect on how you use your own energy to get things done in your life. Are those ways serving you or holding you back? Because Leo is the lesson of Self-Love, this particular season is about if / when / how you actively (Mars) love your Self (Leo) and how you relate to your own heart's deepest desires. Do you feel worthy of the things you dream of? Do you feel like what you really want is even possible? What motivates you to action on your own behalf ~ fear or love? This is a time when less conscious souls will not be able to control their anger with the seeming injustices, blockages and delays to getting their way. They will demonstrate their frustration by exploding with infantile rage (tantrums/fits), selfishness (lower will) and groundless pride (ego).

Don't get me wrong, we all have 'good days' and 'bad days' when we may *initially* feel all of the above, however, a conscious and awake soul will catch it ~ in that very same moment ~ and take back their power to *choose* a mindful response rather than allow their ego to ignite the explosive emotional reaction. If you are faced with power struggles, control issues, ego mania and/or outright hostility, you have to pull back and ask your Self, what within you, feels this out of control? or unworthy of respect and common courtesy? or in need of an anger-management lesson yourself? Here are some suggestions for a better use of this energy and cycle.

Check Your Personal Motivations ~ what motivates you to act on your desires? what excites you? what gets you fired up? It has likely changed in the last 2 years. And if you're old enough to remember, with clarity, this energy and cycle from 1995 or 1980 or 1977 or 1962-63 when the lesson of how you love your Self and use your energy to express your authentic nature came up, then I ask you now: what do you want to do differently *this* time? How can you use the gifts and strengths you've cultivated over the years ~ with an eye on the mistakes made and challenges encountered ~ to choose differently *this* time?

Check Your Personal Desires ~ you may not even *want* the same things you wanted 2 years ago. Many people function on "auto pilot", or worse, in "survival mode", moving through life without consciously thinking or choosing their next move. That is a dangerous way to operate when we've clearly moved into new and unknown territory. This is an incredible time of transition from an old era to a new era ~ from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age. The planets are the least of the many, many indicators signifying this shift of the ages. The same old modes of operating will not work and could even be potentially dangerous. It is imperative that you know who you are and what you truly want. Then you must act intuitively in this new realm, engaging your *heart* to make the final decisions.

Check Your Personal Energy ~ how do you use the energy you have to get what you want? Is it effective or destructive? How do you replenish your energy when it is low? How do you manage and direct your energy when it is high? What are you attracting from others (known and unknown people)? Count the blessings and acknowledge the challenges, take back your power to express your energy differently (as needed).

Perfect Your Action Steps & Responses ~ Mars Retrograde is the best time to review how your actions have helped or hurt your progress. Review ~ Reflect ~ Plan ~ Strategize ~ and ultimately, prepare for *new* action steps AND responses upon forward movement. What actions have helped (or hindered) you in the last 2 years? How / when / where can you choose differently going forward?

Step In to Personal Authentic Power ~ it is time for you to be responsible for the power you do have to direct your own life. Your personal power supports you and is vital to accomplishing the goals you set in life. Any power you rely on *outside* of Self is IN-authentic, temporary and likely toxic. Personal power begins with knowing who you are and what you want ~ clarity is a beautiful thing. When these things are in place, you know that everything is your *choice* and you are never a victim. You remember in every moment that you are connected to Source which supports only the true, authentic Being you are (everything else is ego ~ Edging God Out).

Choose a Cause of the Heart ~ Because Leo is Self-Love, I say, start there! Many people go through life serving and helping others, which in and of itself is admirable and part of why we're here, but it is not the only reason we are here. If you are giving away all your love and energy to others to the detriment and expense of your own vital life force and NOT replenishing, receiving or allowing it to be reciprocated in even flow, then eventually you will tap-out (then you're no good for anyone). If you are good at balance and reciprocity, then *expand* and share that love and vital energy. Find something to dedicate your energy to that *feels* good to your HEART! Very often, whatever you are drawn to *give* automatically feeds you in return.

Define & Establish Healthy Boundaries ~ this goes for your Self and others. For your Self, you must know and love your Self enough to develop clarity on what you can/will and can't/won't do. I remind you not to think of it as "selfish" but "self-preservation". You are in charge of YOU! When you honor your Truth, when you express your needs and desires with honesty, others will automatically respect the boundaries you have set.

Respond vs. React ~ Creative responses will yield much better results than prideful, emotional reactions, now and always. But particularly at this time, when Mars Retrogrades, we can all get a little frustrated when things are not working as we envision. Again, those with an expanded repertoire of response and vital imaginations will get to flex their muscle during this period. Those stuck in ego, terrible-two's-I-want-my-way-NOW mode will be frustrated (others) and draining to be around (you). Understand that when the planet of "action" pulls back, so too will "action" slow in the mainstream, 3-D world. Fighting it is futile but everyone will get through it in the way that is most useful to their level of Soul work. Mars movement, in either direction, is always revealing! Unconscious or unrecognized anger, pride, ego and childishness will be brought in to the light for review and release. Keep in mind that every *disruption* of the energy is an opportunity for clarity (for all involved).

Love as a Verb ~ This is the best time to rededicate your energy to actively loving your Self: body, mind and Spirit. Treat your Self like a cherished child, with love, respect, nourishment and protection. Create space to play and discover. Exercise, rest, eat living foods and drink plenty of water. Take time to read or do a puzzle (solo play) and/or make a play-date with a few special friends, spend time in nature, at a park, on the swings, at the ocean's edge. Write poetry, short stories or journal. Anything artistic, any kind of expression of creativity will strengthen your heart connection and remind you that you are *ALIVE*!

Blessings of Mars in LEO
Once you've had a chance to delve in to your own process, renewed *clarity* about who you are and what you want will inspire you, upon forward motion. You will recognize how compassion, forethought and patience enable you to dialogue rather than duel. You will learn or cultivate your own way of being direct and asserting yourself because of the renewed courage to *BE* your authentic Self in all instances. With practice, this becomes effortless and automatic. Ultimately, this 9-month gestation period will develop congruency within and without, birthing a completely *new* Being who is true to themselves and their heart's desire, radiating Love & Light to ALL! You get a chance a few times a year to check in with Mercury and see if YOUR systems are all communicating properly. This should be welcomed not resisted. This is a good time to review and revise your goals, go back over all that you've attempted and see if there is anything you missed initially. This is a good time to reflect on how you would LIKE to express your Highest Self; how you communicate with your Self and others; what you are a "voice" for. It is good to back up all computers and do regular maintenance on your car for good measure and consider the down-time, a "back up" of your internal computer.

Mercury generally goes Retrograde *3* times a year, for about 3-weeks at a time. Periodically, like 2009, a 4th one will occur and straddle the year-end. Most often, it involves two elements. For example, all of 2009, Mercury went backward in Air Signs and Direct in Earth Signs. This is an indication that the initial review has to do with your ideas, concepts, thought processes and perceptions. Once that review is done, and forward movement is resumed, you can express and anchor them in some tangible way, in the 3-D, Earth realm. Most of the time, two Elements are involved, but every couple of years, an entire year of Mercury Retrogrades will be in ONE Element, like 2010. The last time it was ALL Earth was 2003 and the next time will be 2016.

How has your thinking grown and changed since 2003, in concrete, tangible ways? How would you like to develop and evolve by 2016?

Mercury in CAPRICORN ... is going to get you present to your personal 'Blueprint' of success. Definitions and Decisions are up for review this season. How do you define success? How are the details of the structure of your life holding things together for you (or not)? Mercury's rulership of the mind, thoughts and perceptions, in this placement will activate the part of your thinking that is (or can be) very grounded and practical. Your ideas are more ambitious and you're completely supported, especially during a Retrograde period, to (re)organize those thoughts. If you don't have a goal, or if your thinking is not serving you in some measurable, effective way, then depression can set in or you are capable of disconnecting emotionally as a defense mechanism. A more useful approach to that is acknowledge that you don't need to be emotional at this time, it does not serve you. Consider yourself the 'architect' of your own life, setting out to build a beautiful and substantial structure that will serve you and benefit others in the long term.

This is a time when 'actions speak louder than words' ~ so even though your mental body may be extremely active, it is also going to plant the seeds (or pressure you) to *DO* something tangible about the thoughts, ideas and concepts you are perceiving at this time. Review the last year for clues on how to be more efficient and effective, stay in the present moment (as best you can) and invite *clarity* of purpose. Plan ~ Strategize ~ Organize ~ Prepare ~ ALL behind the scenes, internally, privately, as Mercury pulls back. Commune with Nature for clues on how vital structures work together and support each other, then plan to emulate that upon forward movement, in the multi-dimensions of your own life. Complete any old projects that have been delayed (for whatever reason). Starting new things is not advised, but completing old ones is tremendously supported, especially anything that will strengthen your foundation if it were only done and out of the way.

Capricorn is all about responsibility and a broad overview, think: head of household. That individual (male or female) has to consider all involved, all issues as well as all possible solutions that ultimately must hold the greater good of the whole 'family' in mind when making choices and decisions. This is a time to see where you may have given away your inner authority to others, with expectations that were ultimately not met. Set some goals to *achieve* something tangible with your ideas in 2010 and use all the Retrograde periods to review your thoughts, words and deeds for *effectiveness*. Release those thoughts and ideas which no longer serve you, use the Retrograde periods (all year) to bless with gratitude and *release* once and for all. On an additional note, Mercury rules choices and decisions and Capricorn rules bones and teeth, which ironically, when having trouble have their root in "postponing decisions". Use this period to set the tone for the entire year (how you start is how you will finish) and re-commit to making the long overdue and vital decisions that, once made, will fortify you on the deepest level.

Scorpio (Oct-Nov) is my favorite time of the year for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that we can simultaneously complete and initiate whole new aspects of our being. I have tracked it for years and it is by far the BEST time for consciously planting the seeds of your ideas that sprout by Taurus (April-May), which is only 6 months. When you think about it, that is not long at all to create a new experience or manifest a dream or express a newly discovered piece of your soul. In astrology, the so-called 'tough' angles may be hard to get through, however, they also propel us to the next level and open up new possibilities. *NOW* is no different. We are living at a pivotal time in Earth's history, and through some very challenging planetary alignments. However, this is a time to CELEBRATE the possibility that the seeds we plant collectively *NOW* ~ WILL blossom in Divine Time & Order.

We are at this "in-between" place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin line between seed and new life, which breaks through that "Sweet Spot" and *IN* to new existence. This is a special time during this natural cycle to "contribute & co-create". This is the most potent time of the year, and Scorpio as ruled by Mars asks, "What do you deeply desire?" and as ruled by Scorpio, "What are you willing to sacrifice to have that desire fulfilled?" Are you willing to ... *SACRIFICE* ...

Scorpio resides in 1-2 parts of your chart, and those are the areas of your life where you can sink to the depths and soar to the heights. It's where your power lies, and how you choose use your power is your responsibility, as well as your own free will and choice. In the meantime, how does ANYTHING come in to being? Life, whether a living organism who calls Earth home or a project/idea you've nurtured from concept to reality, requires both the visible and invisible to bring in to existence. There is the work you do to contribute to the healthy development of whatever you create (Scorpio is the energy of creation) and then you have to step back and ALLOW SPIRIT to breathe life force in to it. Whether creating another human, or an expression of your soul, you are ALWAYS A CO-CREATOR in the process, you are a very necessary part of the equation, but you are not the SOURCE. The void is where the unseen action is, seeds germinate in the darkness, away from prying eyes and meddling. Whatever you create, whether within you or around you, is your responsibility to protect (your creation). I personally like the custom of waiting 3 months in to a pregnancy before announcing it to family and friends, I think it should be applied across the board.

Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, the planet of death, rebirth and transformation suggests that pain is part of the process of purification and certainly of 'birthing'. We know women experience pain when giving birth, but what do we leave that experience with? (most of the time, with few obvious exceptions) but a GIFT!! What do you think a caterpillar *feels* as it wiggles out of the cocoon? or any baby lifeform bursting through the container it arrives in? but in time out of time, the struggle to live is something all creatures do instinctively. Connect to your will to LIVE ~ THRIVE ~ PROSPER ~ and MAXIMIZE THE MOMENTS in your every day life. Life is not a blockbuster film, or the Grammy awards, no brass band is going to play for your every accomplishment, you have to *CONNECT* ~ in this moment ~ to YOUR BLISS ~ YOUR JOY ~ YOUR HAPPINESS ~ YOUR PEACE ... WITHIN! Within your own being, within your own heart, within your own sacred space and most importantly within as many *moments* as you can consciously count, starting with *NOW* the PRESENT MOMENT.

The opposite of Scorpio is Taurus, which rules GRATITUDE, among other things. We must in every moment, count our many blessings. I highly recommend referring back to 6-months ago and 1-year ago. I bet you will discover seeds you planted which have come to fruition and those which need more nurturing to become mature enough to be released.

In my own personal review, it occurred to me that when I remember being "most effective" - it was often because I did NOT think as much or as long before acting, but acted on instinct and in the moment. As we get older, we are more conscious of what can go wrong, and that youthful sense of invincibility, while in dire need of some temperance, actually serves an amazing purpose: More often than not ~ things go RIGHT! (Reflect on your own stats, I bet you find that things work out more than they DON'T.) And even when things went wrong, none of it killed me, but gave me another clue about my Self as well as more clarity on my true desires.

I suggest releasing as quickly as possible that which is done or not working, and embracing new options as soon as possible so you can benefit from them or count them out and move on. Really, what do you have to LOSE? failing? you've failed before. Looking foolish, I'm sure that's been done at some point too. What should scare you more than anything is giving up without even trying (to fulfill your potential). There is always a way to do what you want to do, even if you have to do it in stages, just START doing what gives you joy. Start being part of communities which support and nourish you, while also allowing you to serve in the community you care about. Artists should be in the 'artists' world ~ Writers should be in the 'writers' world etc, immerse your Self in the realm to which you wish to belong. Start with some aspect of your Self that you can BUILD ON (because expansion IS near, you must stabilize). Do the planting in Scorpio time and pruning in Taurus time and watch how the Garden that is YOU blossoms with its own unique energy, and attracts the perfect creatures you wish to live with and help sustain. Remember, gardens are home for both beauty and sustenance, two things we really cannot live without.

We have unprecedented assistance, which I speak to in the Monthly Forecast, but also at length in a Chiron in Aquarius: 2005-2010 Article. Chiron is called the Wounded Healer, and implies that we must heal Self, then others by our example and innate gifts. In other words, we teach that which we need most. Whatever your wounds, you have to heal before you can be of service to anyone else on a significant level. Scorpio asks that we purify any wounds, allow time to heal and contribute the necessary energy for healing, release them and be born anew. You will KNOW you have been born anew by the new choices you make ... it will become automatic in your behavior ~ in your body language ~ in your words and deeds. Scorpio energy burns off the dross and reveals the pure stuff within YOU, revealing what you are truly made of at the core.

And you are made of tougher stuff than you, a child of God & the Universe, give your Self credit for! You are not always privy to the grand design, but you're always co-creating on some level, so tune out the non-sense, tune IN to your common sense and extra sensory perceptions, this is not the time to take things for granted or at face-value. Tune in constantly to your FEELING nature, your INTUITION, your GUT, your 6th Sense are all available and much more reliable as a compass to direct you. And while all humans on the planet are growing along with Mother Earth, your INVISIBLE HELP ~ your Angels ~ your Guides ~ your Ancestors ~ and many benevolent energies and entities which want to see all living things thrive and prosper are ready, willing and much better able to ASSIST YOU. However, help has to be invited. None of the above will ever supercede your free will and choice, you have to invite the invisible help *IN* and create a welcoming space for creativity to occur. And this month, the veils are thinnest and you have much more access to the invisible realms than at any other time of the year, what do you have to lose by ... Clarifying your desire ... Owning what you are willing to sacrifice ... then Setting an intention ... Creating an inviting space ... then Trusting Spirit and Connecting to the *FEELING* of your request(s) fulfilled. Simple yet powerful exercise that won't take long at all.

The following 4 entries started out as one article of "Highlights" and quickly became individual "Details" and still requires even more in-depth exploration (and explanation). I will be writing follow up articles to most of what follows as their combined influence stretches far and wide. However, this initial period is most important for setting the tone and attracting all that you need, desire and deserve in order to best navigate this time. The more consciously we all move through this period of time, the better positioned we'll be to build/expand in the future. Take in whatever you can, work on what intuitively jumps out as *vital* for you personally, and come back to visit the rest periodically over the next year.

Large individual and collective patterns are unfolding at this time. Control is an illusion. I looked up the origins of the word "control" and found: contra (against) roll (wheel turning). Only humans oppose Nature, all other lifeforms just Adapt. Another take on the word "control" was "to check, verify, regulate". Now, as a supposedly "evolved" species, perhaps we could use our intelligence, awareness, technology and Infinite ingenious gifts we possess, naturally I might add, to work *WITH Life* ~ with Mother Earth ~ with Nature ~ with Cycles. We cannot control or predict EVERYTHING, but there are loose guidelines upon which we can depend for certain periods of time and at regular intervals. The following is a snapshot of *now* to get you started. The last Sacred Season of the Solar year and the Forecast is coming the first week of November ~ stay tuned!

During this Scorpio time of year, Chiron's mythology becomes interesting, as he was known for consciously choosing death, and in this case, his journey through Aquarius suggests that community along with individuals' special gifts & healing abilities ~ have all been undergoing a major healing and transformation. Allowing the ego-based, separatist thinking to die so that a rebirth of communal living and the honoring of all living things can re-emerge. This is micro-to-macro, yes on a collective level we are definitely going through this, but on an individual level as well.

Neptune is dissolving the "old" vision, the "old" form ~ of your life and the life of the planet. It is dissolving boundaries between you and everything ~ all is ONE and you can feel this on a visceral level now more than ever (even if we all periodically struggle to articulate it). This process through Aquarius is preparing all of us for a 14-year Piscean process, closing out 165-year Cycle for Neptune. This is 'back to the womb' ~ this is a major *Completion* for the collective. 1998 - 2012, the Aquarius lesson of "detachment" has been working on the collective consciousness. The Leo/Aquarius dynamic is all about having the courage to love and be your authentic Self, grounded, centered and ecstatically dedicated to sharing that Light with the community. As the old definitions of "life" dissolve, we are being prepared to (in my humble opinion) express God in human form ~ Spirit made manifest. Neptune in Pisces is going to dissolve any concept of us being separate ~ from ANYTHING! We are NEVER separate from each other, nor our planet. During Neptune's journey through Pisces, we are being prepared for re-birth in Aries (a major *Initiation*) ~ before we can BE brand new Beings, we must RE-Connect with our innate intuition, our natural compassion and our own divinity. Keeping in mind, always, with the Virgo/Pisces axis, it is "Service" ~ not 'servant' ~ leading by example, teaching people to be self-sufficient is much more loving ~ and Virgo would say 'more useful' ~ than wearing your Self out in the process of taking care of others perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. (It is a completely different matter for those who are truly in need.)

Use the Healing Trinity's combined potency to tap true Source energy. All wounds can be healed, scars can fade and a stronger foundation can (and will) naturally emerge. Jupiter helps you express a New Truth/New Story. Chiron helps you self-heal and share your process with others so they too can benefit from your healing process. Neptune reconnects you to Source ~ God ~ Great Spirit ~ Unity of the Highest Order. Fusion. Strength. Flexibility. Endurance. Awareness. Wholeness is a choice, maintaining it is a commitment. You are worth the effort. Take some time to reflect and set intentions for healing. Even if you cannot articulate things specifically, open to healing, open to wholeness, open to balance, open to support and protection, open to preserving your life. It has been said many times, "We live in interesting times." It may be challenging to "multi-task" with all these simultaneous activations, and you don't want to scatter what little energy you may have to devote to your Self, so be sure to take some "Intentional Solitude" to reflect on which of these activations will *SUPPORT* you while prepare to take on other activations whenever you can. It would be better to strengthen one aspect of your Being, than to half-step on ALL. Choose one thing to focus on and watch for better results!

First things first, Saturn takes 28-30 years to travel through all 12 signs, spending 2-3 years in each sign. Saturn is also known as the Great Teacher, Father Time or Lord of Karma ~ its whole purpose is to teach important lessons, determine healthy limits and remind you that YOU are responsible for all of it ~ who you are as well as what you create in the world. As Saturn moves through the sky, and thus through each sign, it will activate Saturn lessons for the collective. During the 20th Century, Saturn moved through Virgo: 1919-1921 ... 1948-1951 ... 1978-1980 ... and now, the 21st Century brings the first one to a close, 2007-2010. You can reflect on the history of those times to assess the collective lessons and repetitive patterns (there are many).

Your Saturn placement (sign/house) indicates your personal definition of reality, relationship with your 3-D / physical reality and the lesson you must master in order to build a solid foundation upon which your life can grow and expand. To that end, most people usually have to first learn what it feels like to be confined / limited by outer reality in order to determine what they are willing to truly be responsible for, how well they can build their own structures and how they will ultimately cultivate the inner authority to define their own reality. For example, Saturn in Aries requires the individual be as independent as possible, while somehow also maintaining balance (Libra) in their dealings with other people, relationships and society. Often, these people have to "learn the Saturn lesson" of standing up for themselves, defining their terms and being responsible for all aspects of their lives, which gets tested depending on how and when they attach their definition of reality to other outer forms, entities, people or structures.

As it is, the current Saturn lesson is that of Virgo: the lesson of discernment, knowing who, when and how much to Trust ... a strong connection to your inner knowing (intuition) in order to create an integrated Spirit (Pisces) having this human experience (Virgo). This lesson presents many possibilities, exposes all the "little things" wrong with your personal structure, which is also affecting the collective structure and gives you repeated opportunities for 2-3 years to assess (Virgo) your life's structure and create a plan to improve it so that it will last another 30 years. Consider also, that Virgo is the last of the "Personal Lessons" we go through before we venture "Above the Horizon" ~ "In to the World" culture of Libra. For now, the focus should be healing (Virgo) your own (personal and collective) structures (Saturn) so that the structure of your new (or re-newed) relationships (Libra) can receive a much needed infusion of Saturnine Strength and Fortification.

While Saturn is in Libra, the people and communities that you engage with over this next 3 years will reflect the (Virgo) healing self-work you already have under your belt, while also revealing what needs to be balanced (Libra) when working or playing with other life forms. This is a magical time for those who have truly cleared much karmic debris and positioned themselves well for contributing to the collective and interacting with other Beings on a much Higher vibratory level. For those who have avoided the self-healing work of strengthening their own structures by pouring their own precious resources of time and energy down the drain of failing structures in the world, families or communities, are being put on notice. Responsibility Squares-Off with Power

Another very important, and rare, alignment is the Saturn/Pluto dynamic, bringing the Ultimate Transformative Power to the Primary Structure of 3-D / Physical Reality for all life forms on Earth. Mother feels the stirrings deep within her belly, and eventually, each one of us will feel the reverberations too. On a personal level, this is tremendous power to direct on your own behalf. You can tap in to this potent alignment and *Synchronize* your Being/Body with our Source/Mother's Being/Body. Square position is a mixed blessing. In the Power Circle, we look at all Squares as necessary for growth and evolution. This is a challenging position, no doubt, but it also generates the much needed energy and resources to move you (out of your comfort zone) in to new territory. Essentially, Responsibility (Saturn) and Balance (Libra) ~ are Squaring off at ~ Power (Pluto) and Worldly Structures (Capricorn rules society, government, education, health care, institutions and corporations). It is time for change and the Square ensures a definitive new direction, for better or worse. Your intentions, as well as conscious efforts, can contribute to the ultimate outcome. Do not ever under-estimate the power of your own Heart and ability to focus and co-create your reality.

Individually, you will have to prioritize the most fundamental elements of your life (food, shelter, health care and education) and then begin, inch-by-inch, taking back your personal authority to govern your own life. It is time for many to remember that "Education & Exercise are the PUREST forms of Self-Love". It will be up to how invested you are in your own evolution. You can "settle" for what is available or you can "supplement" what is available but your own health and education should not be solely dependent on any outer entity. Culture, school, community are all "guides" but ultimately, what you learn in life is truly YOUR CHOICE. Maintaining a healthy body is YOUR responsibility. Advertisers and corporations are not sitting at your table determining what or how much you spend or consume. Again, they may present options, but you ultimately choose what makes your life more expansive or more limited. Most have a preference, but the key now is balance and integration. Consolidating and Expanding.

Collectively, the fundamentals of sustaining collective life on this planet must also shift. That means the systems (Virgo) which support and protect all life must get an "upgrade" of sorts. Theoretically, this "upgraded system" (based on what was revealed by both these planets' recent travels (Saturn in Virgo and Pluto through Sag) will help support the global community (Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn). "New and Different" would actually be living in balance, peace and harmony with each other ~ THAT would be "new and different" ~ compared to the war and oppression people seem to always have to experience before remembering we are ALL ONE.

This 3-part Activation will peak around the dates above, but the influence stretches the entire 3 years Saturn remains in Libra. In fact, when you look at what "lessons" Saturn is bringing ~ during the 16 year period of Pluto in Capricorn ~ an even more broad (and potent) story is revealed. The years 2007 - 2026, Saturn will traverse Virgo through Pisces. On a collective level, from the structure of our physical form and daily life (Virgo) ... to the structure of our ultimate Oneness and spirituality (Pisces) ~ Saturn is going to infuse an old reality with new lessons and new definitions, more reflective of "here and now". 2017-2020, Saturn will be in Capricorn, in the exact space as Pluto for almost 3 years, transforming life as never before, just prior to the USA's Pluto Return in 2022.

This will be an unprecedented time in our collective history, in the USA's history, and entire generations of individuals with Saturn in one of those 6 signs. Perhaps, we will gather our collective ingenuity, strength and inner-responsibility to create societal structures that are practical, realistic and effective when Saturn joins Pluto in Capricorn. This will lay the groundwork for Saturn in Aquarius, creating renewed structures which will ultimately benefit all life on the planet, as a unified whole. The USA's Pluto Return is a collective RE-BIRTH on a grand scale. America can be born anew in the Aquarian Age, with the balance of Leo/Aquarius energy, supporting all life, large and small. Try to direct your focus toward the Light (however minute and far away it may seem from our limited individual perspective) and allow your heart to lead you through the dark patches.

Will You Do Self-Love or Self-Sabotage?

Mars (what you deeply desire/what you are passionate about) is in Leo (creativity, Heart, courage, Light, Love) where it has initiated a 7+ month journey/process, including a Retrograde which only happens every 2 years. This is a Double-Fire combo, making it extremely potent, and as with any amount of Power, much responsibility and conscious thought is necessary to make it effective, rather than destructive. Using this Double Fire energy for creativity and purification is highly recommended. This combo represents who you are, what you want and what you truly value. This much Fire (power) must be directed with care and never left "unattended". If you are not paying attention and allow this fiery energy to blaze out of control, you will destroy rather than create; you will burn out your valuable energy rather than light your Path. If you already struggle with volatile emotions and roaring reactions, this is going to be an ultimate test for you. Be very mindful, there is no disguising this energy and it will make you a target for cooler, strategic minds to use your own energies against you.

In late 2007-early 2008, we experienced the last Mars Retrograde through Cancer. It is my opinion that *IF* you did the cleansing/clearing work of Mars in Cancer then, you will be better positioned to maximize the potential of Mars in Leo this Retrograde (review) Cycle. Remember, everything leads to the next thing. In Cancer, we got very clear about our definitions of emotional and material security, we released the past and healed very deep, personal wounds of childhood (some past lives and ancestral wounds as well for those willing to delve that deep). Mars always asks the question, "What do you really WANT?" Do you want to walk around with your heart on your sleeve, immediately revealing your deepest wounds from childhood and reliving family dramas, all in an effort for others to "understand" you better? Most would say, "no". Well, Mars in Leo will have NONE of the Cancer weepy-ness, mired in the past, afraid to make any moves or constantly moving sideways and backward, rather than directly forward.

This energy demands action, my recommendation is to temper that fiery energy with a worthy cause: YOU!! Everything you "want" ~ everything you "love" ~ everything you've "attracted" in to your life is a reflection of your deepest belief about what you are WORTH. Mars in Leo is going to test the work you did when it last Retrograded through Cancer. What's the point of clearing past pain if you cannot then turn and shine your brilliant, loving Light through the courageous act of true, authentic *SELF-LOVE*? Love, as I've said, needs to become a *VERB* (action word) over the next 7+ months. Loving Self enough to feed it properly, maintain it at a basic or higher level, educate your Self, share your Self with others who appreciate all that you ARE and reflect back to you brilliant variations of YOU!

For naturally fiery natures, you may want to consciously direct this passionate and potent energy in to a cause or dear project. For those of you who are NOT naturally fiery, this energy lends strength and courage to step in to your authentic Self and create necessary energy to facilitate change. Either way, all should be tuned in for the upcoming Review (Dec 20 - Mar 10) when action in the world will slow ever-so slightly, nudging you to turn Mars activity toward internal concerns. "DO" You ... rather than "do" in the world. A brief 3-month cycle to review how you are really "loving self" ~ how passionate you are about certain issues which affect all life ~ how you support or suppress your own innate creativity ~ and ultimately, how well you keep your ego in check. Mars in Leo makes it mandatory to allow your Higher Self to lead, because if ego gets involved not only will you fail, but you will fail in front a large audience.

Cultivating Connections Within & Without

Venus (values, priorities, resources, love, art, beauty, culture) in Libra (balance, reciprocity, relationships) is a time to restore balance within your Being, in preparation for *CREATING* during Scorpio time. This is an opportunity to clear the past, release whatever is no longer important to you (or your relationships) and prepare to go deeper. It will make the deep dive in to the potent Scorpio energy more productive (and less debilitating) if you align your priorities where your own Being and your primary relationships are concerned *NOW*, with Venus' assistance. This is very "personal", as with all the personal planets, you get more/less tag-teamed by each one as they traverse the zodiac activating lessons and clarity before moving on to the next one. Paying attention and co-creating with the energies available will produce tangible results that you can actually build on.

When Venus is in Libra, it is time to assess your priorities with balance and a cool head (Air sign) and with respect to how you, your life and your choices affect those closest to you. The better you do this process, the more productive Scorpio time will be. Once Venus moves in to Scorpio, it will be time to root-out any self-deceptions and bad habits which no longer support who you've become over the last year. Releasing deeper issues, clearing a space to plant *NEW* seeds of potential for the upcoming year. Remember, Libra is the lesson of "balance and reciprocity" which must be considered before taking on the Scorpio lesson of "karma and creation", otherwise you only create more "karma and creation" to clean up. Venus will always remind you that you ARE what you cultivate, as well as what you attract! BE the space for that which you most value in life and your energy spent on YOU will always yield a proper return.

Balance & Purification ~ Leads to Renewed Truth & Purpose

Fall Equinox kicked off an on-going stream of activations and this week is pivotal. Pivotal as in ~ shifting you and your attention toward a new direction. It is going to be intense and rapid-fire, now thru the first week of November. This week initiates the Healing Trinity's renewed forward movement. Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune have been Retrograde for the last several months. This has turned the healing focus *INWARD* and there has been a tremendous amount of permanent healing done on the Individual level, so that once all three planets are forward again, you are in a stronger position to contribute, and then the Healing focus will shift back toward the Collective. This potent combo is facilitating the necessary healing and fusion (for Earth and ALL Life) before we can fully function at this Higher Vibratory Frequency. We are in, and approaching even more, decidedly *NEW* territory. Properly navigating *NOW* is essential to your ultimate success with whatever your focus may be at this time.

This week ... October 11 - 17, 2009

Jupiter (your Truth/your Story) goes forward in Aquarius ~ how did your "editing" process go June-October? Jupiter expands your awareness, thus expanding your personal Truth as you learn ... and process what you are learning. In Aquarius, it will demand that you cultivate an authentic Self (Leo) so you can contribute your unique *piece* to humanity (Aquarius), and to the Universe. As it goes forward, so too will your personal Truth & Story evolve.

Ceres (what/how you nurture) moves in to Scorpio ~ the focus shifts from Libra, wanting to purify and nurture your relationships and environment ~ *SURFACE* issues ... to Scorpio, *BELOW* the surface issues. What seeds are germinating in YOUR darkness? Think Garden: What needs a pruning/clearing so it can thrive and grow better? Scorpio is the lesson of karma and the most potent, creative energy in the zodiac. Ruled by Pluto, it is your connection and experience of power and all the issues that go with having any amount of power, let alone the enormous amount afforded the average human. Be mindful that anytime ANY planet is in Scorpio, molecules are moving and forming with lightning speed ~ anything you *think* can (and often will) manifest sooner than later. Stay in the Light as much as possible, composting any negative energy so it can be fuel rather than poison.

Venus (values, priorities, resources, love, art, beauty, culture) moves in to Libra, where She is most 'at home'. Venus rules Taurus and Libra, expanding our concepts of kinship, sustenance and beauty. In Libra, we are restoring balance within the individual and cultivating cleaner connections with others. It is truly time to renew solid relationships and release toxic ones. This is a time to beautify your Self and your Sacred Space, work on your art, create and socialize in loving, happy circles with other creative, progressive souls.

Mars (what we deeply desire/what we are passionate about) moves in to Leo where it will initiate a 7-Month journey/process, including a Retrograde which only happens every 2 years. Mars in Leo connects you with your inner *FIRE* ... who are you? what do you want? what gets you fired up? what are you passionate about, willing to fight for and dedicated to protecting? This energy is going to make some people acutely uncomfortable and others will thrive and radiate Light like never before. Love becomes a verb at this time, and as you learn to love your Self, you are better able to give and receive love out in the world. Pay attention to events which occur now (Oct 16th) to Winter Solstice (Dec 21st) because this will be the material of Mars' Retrograde (Dec 20, 2009 - Mar 10, 2010). The beauty of a Retrograde is second chances, so pay attention, it will be decades before we get this specific opportunity again. We are defining what we want for ourselves and our Source, Mother Earth, and making love a *VERB* ~ for both.

All this is leading up to the Libra New Moon (Oct 18th). Aries Full Moon shined a bright light on that which is no longer part of your Identity, what you no longer want/desire in your life. As you begin to more fully express this "new you", the more your partnerships and relationships will also have to adjust. The Libra New Moon is an excellent time to set your intentions for restored Balance within your own Being, enabling healthier relationships. Keep in mind you will always attract your *Vibrational Match* ... how's your vibe these days? Inviting, welcoming ... or ... guarded and doubtful?

Major shifts are occurring in this short periods of time, not giving anyone very much time to process before another one occurs. Somehow, this is perfect, Divine Order. I also notice an ebb and flow with it. We are being pelted now (Sept/Oct) but after the first week of November, planetary movement is pretty minimal (though activations continue) but that will likely be a time when you can really digest and assimilate all the 'old' leaving, 'new' coming in and general transition of 2009. And whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, it is an excellent time to bask in *GRATITUDE* for all your lessons and all your blessings. Based on all you've learned and integrated, what will you create in the coming year?

*3* High Moons ~ *6* Months Later

The *3* High Moons refer to the Lunations which usher in the Spring Festivals each year as life is renewed. They are the following: Aries New/Libra Full Moon, Taurus New/Scorpio Full Moon and Gemini New/Sagittarius Full Moon. There are many cultures and belief systems that refer to these Full Moons in particular which *AWAKEN* the life force energy (Aries/Libra), the Christ nature of unconditional love and acceptance, then the Buddha nature of compassion and forgiveness (Taurus/Scorpio), and finally, wisdom and understanding comes (Gemini/Sagittarius) every year, activating every lifeform's genetic code on a cellular level reminding them of the annual opportunity to seed and renew *LIFE*.

StarPriestess.com's Allison Rae describes the Festivals we celebrate during Spring Equinox ~ Sacred Season every year. She says, "This is the first of the three great spring lunar festivals. Arriving just after the Equinox point, this Full Moon represents balance, culmination and renewal. The Festival of Easter or Festival of the Christ (Libra/Aries) celebrates the advent of Christ Consciousness on Earth and relates to the resurrection and ascension of the soul. Wesak Festival or Festival of the Buddha (Scorpio/Taurus) celebrates the birth, death and enlightenment of the Buddha and serves as a focal point for the seeding of spiritual enlightenment on Earth. During the Full Moon Festival of Humanity (Sagittarius/Gemini), the energies received through the previous two lunar gateways are disseminated into the Earth grid through the hearts of planetary servers."

I've been working directly with these potent energies, consciously and consistently for about 10 years now and the last 5 of them, I've taken note of how productive and fulfilling the polar opposite time of the year is, Fall Equinox and the *3* Lunations of that Sacred Season. Nothing short of *MIRACULOUS*!! What seeds did you plant during the Spring 2009? Now, 6-months later, how are the seeds of whatever you planted (within or around you) sprouting? Can you tell what is working, what needs more time to develop and what is not growing at all? I have found that working *BOTH* Seasons, mindful of what you are trying to create, manifests the vision much faster. It is a time of year when many diverse cultures around the globe gather to honor nature, cycles, seasons and the bountiful gifts of Great Spirit and Mother Earth ~ reflecting our Humanity ~ reflecting our Divinity. "When two or more gather" ~ as you focus on peace and prosperity, you can *KNOW* that there are essentially millions of other souls around the world focusing on that at the very same moment you are.

This current Sacred Season is another opportunity to clear space and energy for future growth and evolution. If you are not feeling connected to the back-end work that may be necessary from seeds you planted at Spring, then consider this a good time to *CLEAR* "in preparation for" the Upcoming Spring season when you will, again initiate something. Focusing at this time, infused with the Healing Trinity's intense beam of Light energy giving you one last gigantic dose of Love, Light and Support before one-by-one (Jupiter, Chiron & Neptune) returning to forward movement and you will know without a doubt, what has healed within and around you. It's not to say that there are not ALWAYS opportunities, energies and activations which facilitate *HEALING*, it is just that this particular combination is uniquely suited to healing both the *Individual* as well as the *Collective* ~ which also complements the current Aries/Libra work. You have a chance to contribute to your own healing, and the work you do there is an automatic contribution to the elevation of the collective health.

This Aries Full Moon is the first *PORTAL* to open the Season and it is in *Mutual Reception* with Mars in Cancer adding major juice to the mix. This Lunar cycle is completely supporting connecting you to your innate power to nourish and protect what you create and what you are passionately dedicated to. You are also deeply supported in releasing anything you no longer "desire" (Mars) or that no longer "feels" (Moon) right/good for you, the "new" you (Aries) that you are *NOW* ... who also now requires new nourishment and support (Cancer) to thrive and blossom. This combo is also a pretty *POTENT* expression of the Divine Feminine (Moon/Cancer) and the Divine Masculine (Mars/Aries) energies within all of us. This brings together both elements necessary to *CREATE* and is an excellent time to balance these within you, anchor with a partner or set intentions to *INVITE* your Divine partner in. Working mojo with these energies will assist you ultimately, in Radiating Truth, Strength & Beauty!

Back in December 2008, Pluto was working (for the first time) directly with the personal planets in Capricorn, clearing space for what Saturn in Virgo is ready to build *NOW*. As Saturn moves in to Libra over the next year, it will spend close to 3 years working with the Lord of Transformation to lay the foundation for the next 30 years (and beyond). This suggests that ... the thread that links *ALL* LIFE on this planet and the duality that forces us to cultivate balance (Libra) in our every move is the MOST IMPORTANT factor when considering what we will build (with Capricorn) to serve and support a large group of people (culture, community, country, society at large). The lessons of Libra and Capricorn are *BALANCE* and *RESPONSIBILITY* (respectively). The planets facilitating these lessons are Saturn and Pluto, who will teach you these lessons each in their own unique way, but bring them together and you will truly not be the same person on the other side of these particular activations, nor will it be the same physical world.

Saturn teaches through exposing the cracks in your personal foundation, where you are weak, fearful, frustrated, stagnated, and where you lack commitment and inner authority to make good choices for the long term/big picture (30 year cycle). (Whatever Sign your Saturn is in will have further implications worth examining.) Pluto teaches through exposing your deepest, darkest fears and blowing up any pent up, repressed, unexpressed natural energies ... leaving you raw, completely vulnerable and without any visible assistance (Invisible Assistance is needed here and always available). Pluto is the Ultimate Healer because it goes to the *ROOT* and prepares a truly *CLEAN & CLEAR* space for rebirth or re-creation to happen. You should want this clean start, because very often, 'how you start is how you finish'. So your own inner toxicity levels will determine how long and difficult the clean up will be. Whatever is dead within or around you must be removed for new life to even be able to take root. Pluto in Capricorn will leave us all with a renewed commitment to being responsible, individually and collectively, for the planet (and anything else) which gives and supports LIFE. We know the macro level manifestation of this, but on an individual level, what are you doing to clear a space, to live a life that PRESERVES LIFE & LIGHT?

These two TOGETHER ~ yikes! Change is inevitable, so you should consciously co-create when it is possible ... which is ALWAYS!! Your thoughts, feelings, words and deeds all manifest and, therefore, contribute to the collective results. This will not be easy, but it can be beautiful. We have a double dose of Saturn because it also rules Capricorn, which leads me to believe that we are *BUILDING* twice as much as we are *BULL-DOZING* (with Pluto). Pluto's most delicious contribution to Saturn's 'building' is that this is an unprecedented opportunity to build on *CLEAN* slate! Venus gets involved as She is the ruler of Libra and this too, is poignant. This reminds me of a quote from one of my teachers, on Venus ...

Venus rules what we cultivate, where our priorities lie and what we value most about life. Adding Her to this potent mix can ONLY HELP! Venus also rules magnetics, how/what/who you attract. Venus is considered a personal planet; Saturn, a social planet; and Pluto, a collective planet. Venus has an 8 year Cycle; Saturn, a 28 year Cycle; and Pluto, a 248 year Cycle. So you can see how each affects us at these different levels, and now, simultaneously. It's now officially *ALL* vital ~ individuals / communities / species ~ ALL are vital and participating in the current evolution.

You can (and will) contribute to this evolution in ways that are likely closest to your own nature. Do you do things with calm, ease and grace? Or do you plan and execute with force and sheer will? Would you like to change from one way, to the other? Ahhh ... where does this lead? Right back to *BALANCE*. How about a delicious combination, in equal measure (by your own definition), the strong commitment and unwavering dedication (it usually requires to 'plan and execute with force') ... and ... self-assured grace, style and faith in Divine Time & Order. Yummmm! Use the available Elements, Air & Earth, at their most challenging and creative combination. This takes ideas and concepts and makes them tangible and 'real' (in some way). We must have balanced, creative thought ~co-creating~ with physical work in order to create positive, tangible, useful results. Squares in astrology sometimes mean "squaring off" and sometimes "crossroads/turning points" but always, they mean "moving out of a comfort zone and in to new territory". And from several years of close observation, I can attest to them also manifesting in both challenging and exciting, happy and sad, productive and debilitating ways. It usually comes down to your own individual nature, your available inner strength and fortitude, your personal view of the circumstances (pessimistic or optimistic) and ultimately, your faith and innate desire.

What do you want? How do you define "quality" of life? These *3* planets will assist with this very process ... aahhh - another useful Trinity! Tune in. Invite their energies to animate through you, in the Highest possible way. Embody each planet in the most positive way you can conjure at this time. Co-create. It is time. It is also completely supported. Envision the Infinite Potential of *NOW* ... go with it and build something even better than before.

Sacred Rhythms ~ Ancient & Ever-New

How Divine is it that Virgo precedes Libra! Virgo is the lesson of *DISCERNMENT* ~ discerning what's relevant, useful, healthy, real ... or not. It prompts us every year to take inventory of ourselves and our lives. Theoretically, in preparation for moving in to Libra time when people and culture get involved or become the focus. The Leo New Moon (Aug 20th) set your new intentions for the authentic *YOU*, now a month later, Virgo New Moon (Sept 18th) asks you to perfect *YOU* before you interact or collaborate with others. With all the intensity of "now", plus the several rare planetary alignments, plus the usual activations and seasonal shifts, it can be very challenging to "tend to the details" the way Virgo would prefer. BREATHE. Instead of giving in to the overwhelmed feelings (Shadow Pisces), tune in to the fact that this is the *LAST* Virgo/Pisces Lunation that you will have the added juice of Saturn/Uranus contributing to your work of 'out with the old / in with the new' while mastering your Human/Physical Self and your Spiritual/Divine Self. (Also, keep in mind that both these major planets are moving in to the Aries/Libra dynamic next which will bring on a whole new set of lessons and activations.)

Everything is preparing you for the next thing. 2009 started with a Venus theme and ends with a Mars theme that will dominate 2010. This suggests that if you get your priorities renewed and realigned (Venus) this year, you will be in a much better position to determine your true and deepest desires (Mars) next year, which will position you to finally take some much-needed action steps toward building and creating a life that better reflects your Truth & Purpose. Right now, Mercury is Retrograde assisting with the *REVIEW* process, supporting everyone who turns within right now. It's time to gather a little more information, clarity and understanding before moving on whatever you are discovering about your Self these days. All is not what it seems, most likely. This may actually be a good thing because it leaves room for your conscious intent and Great Spirit to move things around before they are too solid to change.

Where we are now began with Winter Solstice 2008. ALL of December 2008 was Infinitely potent, and by the end of the month, we had Sun, Mercury, Mars (3 of the personal planets) and Jupiter (social planet) joining Pluto (collective planet) in Capricorn, the sign of responsibility, stability and integrity. *FALL* Equinox 2009 brings an opportunity to analyze, digest and assimilate the first full year of Pluto in Capricorn so strongly activating the Solstices and Equinoxes (4 times per year for the next 16 years) ... You are preparing for the coming new Solar year at Winter Solstice ~ December 2009. What have you learned about dancing so closely with Pluto, Lord of Transformation? What have you gained? What have you lost? Use this *FALL* Season to identify what is solid and useful and what is finally ready to be released back in to the Infinite Void of creation.

*FALL* Equinox 2009 also moves some of the personal planets along from Virgo in to Libra, reminding you this is also a time for *BALANCE* ~ of Dark/Light ~ of Feminine/Masculine ~ of Inner/Outer. Pluto being so intricately linked to the Sacred Seasons for the next 15+ years, gives you unprecedented support for the changes you are ready, willing and able to make. At the turn of each Season, there will be intense transformation added to the already potent mix. The Solstices are all about Initiation/Integration and the Equinoxes are all about Growth/Development. Depending on your own alchemical mix, there will be a certain degree of "out of the comfort zone" for everyone. Use it as *FUEL* to facilitate change within your own Being, your own life and your own community. (Resistance and procrastination will prolong the pain and delay your good.)

Though this is profoundly personal, individual work, many of us share the desire and intention to live in a diverse, peaceful, thriving & dynamic community. How and when that (peaceful and thriving) community manifests, lies within each individual. We are strengthened, fortified and uplifted every time we remember we are NOT ALONE. A solid connection and sense of belonging are incredibly sacred gifts that we will share during this season of *HARVEST* ~ adding juice and power to our individual and collective intentions.
